Zwartwoud has sustainably organized wood production in-house, but operates independently of materials. We have a large network of specialized partners. This is how we meet the needs and wishes of our clients: Zwartwoud offers customized solutions. In the field of circularity, where the possibilities are endless, our network with innovative partners offers many opportunities.
We make Bills of Materials (BOM) and are able to generate a CO2 footprint thanks to our cooperation partners. With a material passport, we make it clear for each piece of furniture how much and which circular material has been used and how materials are connected. This also makes it clear to future users exactly what kind of material they have in their hands and how the material can be harvested.
At Zwartwoud, circularity is not about trends, but about conscious craftsmanship and long-term impact. This is how we build interiors together that not only make the space, but also the world a little more beautiful.

Our optimal process
A process from design to realization is never the same. Especially not when it comes to a circular project. Zwartwoud is flexible, but we do have an ideal image. If you ask us, the optimal design and creation process is the circular construction team model. Indeed, the key to a successful circular project is early cooperation between all chain partners.
Idea
The client has an idea and selects an architect to develop this idea.
Design
The architect with a concept design of the building, the interior, etc. based on a Program of Requirements (PVE).
Construction team
The construction team is formed with the client, architect, contractor, installer, and interior builder.
Collaboration
Within the construction team, expertise is combined to realize the circular project within budget and schedule.
Realization
Through the cooperation of the construction team, the circular interior is successfully realized.
