Zwartwoud invests in further digitization and automation of the production process
At Zwartwoud, we continue to invest in innovation. Thanks to a subsidy from the Just Transition Fund (JTF) and the Northern Netherlands Partnership (SNN), we took an important step in further automating our production process with the purchase of the HOMAG DRILLTEQ V-310.

This advanced vertical CNC machine tool is designed for maximum performance in minimal space. With a footprint of just 11 m², the machine offers enormous possibilities for precise drilling, milling, grooving and processing of furniture parts and panels. The machine can process workpieces up to 3,050 mm long and has smart technologies that ensure a faster, more efficient and more consistent production process.
With this investment, we can produce faster and more accurately, reduce material waste and automate repetitive actions. In addition, we increase the quality and consistency of our products and use time, energy and production space more efficiently.
For our employees, this means a more modern work environment where craftsmanship and technology come together. By reducing repetitive activities, there is more room for specialist customization, quality control and innovation.
This investment is perfectly in line with our mission: to produce circular furniture solutions in a smarter, more sustainable and future-proof way.
This project is made possible in part by the Just Transition Fund (JTF) and SNN.
